Axel has been away a lot this summer, but he was here for a few weeks in August and then we spent quite some time around a place called Pane di Zucchero which means Sugar bread. It was soaking hot and we had a strange boiling hot wind from the south, Scirocco, straight from Sahara.
We also had a few days with absolutely NO wind at all, at one point we parked ourselves outside a little village and stayed at exactly the same spot for hours and hours without any anchor out. When the temperatures are climbing up above 40 degrees, you appreciate a little bit of wind now and then.
We met some great people, saw some fantastic spots, played a lot of backgammon and swam and snorkeled constantly.
